ITINERARY

DAY 1 Arrive Milan

You're met on  arrival at Milan's Malpensa airport and transferred to your hotel. Later, after check-in at the hotel, an orientation tour shows us the Duomo, the Galleria and "La Scala" Opera. In the evening, we enjoy a welcome drink with our Tour Director and fellow travelling companions.

DAY 2 Milan - Torino - Monte Carlo (2)

This morning after breakfast we make our way to Torino. On our arrival an orientation tour shows  us the 'Antonelliana' building before time at leisure to further explore. From here we continue our journey through the Alps to France and into the Principality of Monaco. This evening, we will enjoy a dinner of Provencal  specialities in a local restaurant. (BB) (HD)

DAY 3 Monte Carlo & Monaco orientation - Nice Excursion

Today's orientation of Monaco highlights the Cathedral where Princess Grace is buried  and views the Grimaldi Palace. Next we make a stop at the village of Eze to visit a perfume factory en route to jet-set Nice. Here we are shown  the Promenade des Anglais and so much more! Later, we travel back to Monte Carlo for the night, with a chance to break the bank at a casino! (BB)

DAY 4 Monte Carlo - Pisa - Montecatini (2)

This morning our journey takes us to Italy's border and along the Italian Riviera of the flowers past Genoa, Columbus' birthplace. Then we continue our drive past the Carrara marble quarries on our way to Pisa. Here we stop to view the famous Leaning Tower in the Square of Miracles and see the Cathedral and its Baptistry. From here  we are off to the spa-resort of Montecatini, where we spend the next two  nights. (BB D)

DAY 5 Florence Excursion

Today it's a short drive to Renaissance Florence,  where the Cathedral, Signoria Square and a visit to the Santa Croce Basilica feature on our guided sightseeing tour on foot, enhanced by an audio system.  Then we enjoy a panoramic view of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. Later, with free time maybe visit a museum or shop for leather and gold before we return to  Montecatini. (BB)

DAY 6 Montecatini - Bologna - Venice (Mestre) (2)

This morning we will drive to Bologna stopping to view the 'kissing' Towers, Neptune's  Fountain and the Communal Palace. Enjoy time at leisure before we continue to magical Venice. Later a gondola serenade is a must! (BB D)

DAY 7 Venice sightseeing & at leisure

Today's canal cruise to St. Mark's Square by private launch shows us the Doges' Palace and the Bridge of Sighs en route to one of the oldest Murano glass-blowing workshops. We'll witness  a demonstration of this craft, then time on your own. (BB D)

DAY 8 Venice (Mestre) - Verona - Milan

After breakfast, the first stop of the day is at Verona where we see the 2,000 year old Arena and Juliet's balcony, the Piazza Bra and the Piazza delle Erbe. Later, back to Milan. (BB)

DAY 9 Depart Milan

Time to bid farewell as we transfer you to Milan Malpensa  airport for your return flight home. (BB)
