London boasts one of the world's most comprehensive networks of buses and railways and your Insight London Transport Travel Pass entitles you to unrestricted use of  the Central London network from 9:30am until the end of each of three consecutive  days.

The bus and underground rail system (or the 'tube', as the locals call it) is  one of the best ways of meeting people and seeing everything you want to see in  this famous city.

SIGHTSEEING

Insight's London Week includes a half day sightseeing tour of the exciting West End. You'll get a feel of what London has to offer as we show you Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Nelson's Column, Cenotaph, Downing Street,  the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and, of course, Buckingham Palace, home of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Then it's over to you to explore those aspects of the city that most fascinate you. Listen to the amateur orators having their say at Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park… make the Changing of the Guard at the Palace an absolute must…  take in the city's great buildings, art galleries and museums.

SHOPPING

If it's shopping that interests you, this is the town! From Harrods and the boutiques  of Knightsbridge, to the antiques and bargains on sale at Portobello Road and colourful  Camden Market! Department stores line the avenues with names so familiar from childhood  games of Monopoly… Bond Street, Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly and many more. It's a shopper's paradise!

ENTERTAINMENT

London's West End is famous the world over for its fabulous shows and collection of theatres, cinemas, restaurants, hotels and nightclubs. If your taste runs to Opera, then Covent Garden is your goal. Perhaps you'd rather a concert at the Royal Albert Hall by one of London's symphony orchestras? If rock and pop is your scene, why not make the pilgrimage to London's Abbey Road where the Beatles recorded  all their hits.

Call in at Madame Tussaud's, watch 'The Championships' at Wimbledon, a Test Match at Lord's, or soak up the atmosphere at a Premier League soccer match. It's all  entertainment, London style.

There's just so much to see and do in London; and a full 7 days gives you a great  chance to see more than most.
