ITINERARY

DAY 1 Arrive Madrid (2)

You are  met at Madrid airport and transferred to your hotel. Later, meet your Tour  Director for a welcome drink.

DAY 2 Madrid sightseeing & Toledo Excursion

After breakfast our morning sightseeing tour shows us the Cervantes Memorial, the Puerta del Sol and more. Then we're off to Toledo where a sightseeing tour includes a  visit to the Synagogue, the Church of Santo Tome and a local steel workshop. Later, we return to Madrid. This evening, why not dine out in a restaurant on the  Plaza Mayor? (BB)

DAY 3 Madrid - Zaragoza - Barcelona (2)

Today's drive takes us through the Jalon Gorges passing Calatayud to Zaragoza with its Cathedrals.  We continue through the Penedes vineyards to exciting Barcelona. (BB)

DAY 4 Barcelona sightseeing & at leisure

Our morning sightseeing tour in this cosmpolitan city includes a visit to Gaudi's 'Sagrada Familia' and the Gothic Quarter. Tonight, we enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. (BB)  (HD)

DAY 5 Barcelona - Peniscola - Valencia

Today our first stop will be at Peniscola. From here we continue our journey through the  Levant region to Valencia. On our arrival an orientation tour shows us the Bull Ring, the great Cathedral and the Towers of Serrano and Cuarte. This evening dinner is included at our hotel. (BB D)

DAY 6 Valencia - Guadix - Granada

This morning after breakfast we make a stop at Guadix to view the troglodyte cave dwellings. From here we continue our journey via the Mora Pass to hilltop Granada,  where we spend the night. This evening, we will enjoy an included dinner of local specialities to the music of the Spanish guitar. (BB) (HD)

DAY 7 Granada sightseeing - Seville (2)

Today we will visit one of the most important sights of Spain, the Moorish Alhambra Palace with a local  guide. You'll be bewitched by these timeless buildings. Next a scenic drive takes us via Antequera to Seville for our two-night stay. After dinner at our hotel this evening, why not experience the passion at a fiery Flamenco show? (BB D)

DAY 8 Seville sightseeing & at leisure

After breakfast our morning sightseeing  tour shows us the Maria Luisa Park, the Cathedral, Giralda Tower, the Plaza de Espana and Columbus' tomb. Aftwards enjoy time on your own  to do as you please. Perhaps enjoy a horse-driven carriage ride through the floodlit  streets of this delightful city. Tonight, dinner is included at our hotel. (BB D)

DAY 9 Seville - Cordoba - Madrid

This morning our journey takes us through the Guadalquivir Valley to Cordoba. On our arrival a sightseeing  tour will feature the Mosque of the Caliphs and the Synagogue. Then we travel  across the plains of La Mancha before we return to Madrid. This evening,  why not join your fellow travellers in a farewell dinner? (BB)

DAY 10 Depart Madrid

Time to bid farewell to new-found friends before we transfer you to the airport for your return flight home. (BB)
