ITINERARY

DAY 1 London - Stratford - Worcester - Llandrindod

Wells A warm welcome from  our Tour Director as we drive over the Cotswold Hills to visit Shakespeare's  birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon. Next past Anne Hathaway's cottage  to the Royal Worcester Pottery. Then on to Llandrindod Wells, where  we will enjoy a welcome drink with our Tour Director. (D)

DAY 2 Llandrindod Wells - Caernarvon

Today we enjoy a full day of scenery en route to Llangollen, home of the Eisteddfod Music Festival. Next on to Betws-y-Coed and a scenic drive over the Llanberis  Pass in the Snowdonia National Park to Caernarvon for dinner and  overnight. (FB D)

DAY 3 Caernarvon - Dublin (2)

This morning we will enjoy a visit to Caernarvon castle, where the Prince of Wales investiture  took place. Next we cross to the Isle of Anglesey for our ferry to Dublin for two nights. (FB)

DAY 4 Dublin sightseeing & at leisure

After breakfast  our morning sightseeing tour includes views of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Phoenix Park and Trinity College. Then free time to perhaps explore or shop. (FB)

DAY 5 Dublin - Sligo

Our day begins with a drive via Longford and Boyle where we view the 12th century Cistercian  Abbey. From here we make our way to Sligo Bay to visit Drumcliff where Yeats is buried. Finally on to our hotel in Sligo for dinner and overnight  stay. (FB D)

DAY 6 Sligo - Ennis - Bunratty

Today's journey  brings us to Galway Bay with its panoramic views. Next we continue  to our hotel in Ennis for the night. In the afternoon, we enjoy a visit to Bunratty Folk Park. (FB)

DAY 7 Ennis - Ring of Kerry - Killarney

This morning we're off to Limerick to view King John's Castle. Next into County  Kerry arriving at Killorglin where we begin the spectacular 'Ring of Kerry' drive to Killarney. (FB)

DAY 8 Killarney - Blarney - Waterford

After breakfast  we make our way to Blarney Castle with a chance to kiss the Stone and acquire the 'gift of the gab'. Then via Cork and Youghal to the Waterford  Crystal Factory for an included visit, before we reach our hotel for  the night. (FB D)

DAY 9 Waterford - Cardiff

It's an early morning drive  to Rosslare Harbour where we board our ferry back to Wales.  From Pembroke we drive along the Heritage Coast road to Tenby on Carmarthen Bay. Then on to Cardiff, the capital of Wales, for dinner and overnight  stay. (FB D)

DAY 10 Cardiff - Bath - London

Before we leave  Cardiff behind we enjoy an orientation which includes a chance to explore the castle. Later we cross the Severn Bridge to Georgian Bath for an orientation tour. Afterwards we continue our drive back to London via Royal Windsor. (FB)
